About this Experience

You don't need to explain your situation before you walk in. Whatever you're carrying right now- a version of yourself you're not sure you're living up to, a career decision you've been sitting on, a role that's started to feel heavier than it should. This experience is built to help you name yours.

Using the Emotional Culture Deck- a structured, card-based method backed by Wharton research and used by organisations like Novartis, KPMG, IBM, Panasonic and Westpac- you'll work through a guided process at a small table of strangers to actually name what you're feeling, instead of gesturing vaguely at "stressed" or "fine." From there, you'll surface the gap between how you feel right now and how you actually want to feel, and leave having committed to one real, personal move to close it.

This isn't group therapy, and it isn't a party trick designed to make strangers cry on cue. It's a structured 2.5-hour experience, facilitated by Benjamin Manu, a certified Emotional Culture Deck practitioner, for people who are used to holding things together for everyone else and rarely get a serious, structured space to ask what they're actually carrying.

You'll leave with:

  1. A clear, named picture of what you're actually feeling right now- in your own words, not a label someone else gave you
  2. An honest read on the gap between that and what you actually want to feel instead
  3. One personal action you've committed to, written down and yours to keep
  4. A handful of real conversations with strangers who, by the end of the evening, don't feel like strangers anymore

Seats are intentionally limited so the conversation stays real, not performative.
