About this Experience

You haven't touched Lego since you were a kid. That's exactly the point.

This isn't a building competition and it isn't a class . There's no instruction booklet, no "right" thing to make, and no skill required. You'll sit at a table with people you've never met, get a pile of bricks, and build whatever you want. Some tables go abstract. Some build something ridiculous on purpose. Some end up building something surprisingly personal without really planning to. That's the part that tends to stick- the conversation that happens while your hands are busy is more honest than the small talk that happens when they're not.

Midway through the evening, we'll throw in one shared challenge- your table builds, together, whatever's slowing your team (or yourself) down right now. I have used this same exercise with organizations like AfDB, ADEA and Twellium to name a few. LEGO itself help teams think and problem-solve differently. You don't need to be in a "team" to enjoy it-strangers work just as well, and it's often where the best conversation of the night happens.

By the end, you'll have built a few things, swapped stories with people you didn't know two hours ago, and probably laughed more than you expected to at an event with the word "facilitation" anywhere near it.

Tell us where you work when you register-purely so we can mix the tables well and make sure no two people from the same office end up stuck together all night.

What you'll leave with:

  1. A handful of new people in your circle you didn't have before tonight
  2. A fun, hands-on reset that has nothing to do with a screen
  3. A small, real glimpse of how a structured "build it out" exercise can shift a stuck conversation-useful to remember next time your own team is spinning on a problem
