The Western Region has never had a race of its own. That changes this December.

Western City Run isn't just a race, it's a full day built around movement, community, and wellness, anchored right along Takoradi's coastline, starting and finishing at The Takoradi Mall (I Love Tadi Park). Whether you're chasing a personal best, running your first 5K, or bringing the whole office out for a walk, there's a way in for you.

Choose your race:

🏃 10K Run : GHS 120 - the headline distance, straight along the coastal road. Chase the clock

🏃 5K Run : GHS 100 - for runners chasing pace or chasing their first-ever finish line.

🚶 5K Corporate & Family Walk : GHS 100 - bring your team, your family, your crew. No rush required. Companies bringing groups of 10 or more get a discounted team rate.

Every registration includes:

1. An official race bib
2. A branded Western City Run vest
3. A finisher medal
4. Hydration stations every 3km along the route
5. Full access to the post-race Wellness Village

The Wellness Village - where the day doesn't end at the finish line:

Cross the line into a full festival built for recovery and community: free health screening and health education (in partnership with the Western Regional Health Directorate), a recovery and massage zone, sponsor activations, live entertainment, and the awards ceremony where every category gets its moment.

If you're coming from outside Takoradi, we've built a Weekend Package just for you. Race registration, accommodation (at KOD Apartment and Thy Favour Hotel per person), return group transportation, and full Wellness Festival and after-party access, all in one.
