Who are you, and what do you host on Gaderin?

My name is Obiyaa, and I am the founder and creative director of Love All Girls Club. Tennis has been a part of my life for over two years now, but my passion for sports started long before that. Back in junior high school, I was a sports prefect, and I immersed myself in every sport imaginable—netball, volleyball, football, track, and even handball. Although I lost touch with sports in senior high school, rediscovering tennis has been a true homecoming. Through Love All Girls Club, I now get to share this love for sports, especially tennis, with an incredible community of women.

I’m thrilled to host an unforgettable all-girls tennis summer experience called Sunset Serve. Set for June 6th, 2026, in Ridge, Accra, this event is all about celebrating womanhood through sports and community. It’s a day where we come together, embrace the power of movement, and create lasting connections!

Give us the backstory. How did this all begin?

When I first started playing tennis, I noticed a gap: in every club I joined, men always outnumbered women. I wanted to understand why. As I progressed and connected with other women, I realized many didn’t feel safe on court. Some had faced unwanted advances, harassment, or endured “jokes” that reduced them to their bodies. For many, tennis felt less like a sport and more like a hostile environment.

Instead of waiting for someone else to create change, I decided to take the step myself to build the safe space I didn’t have, and to open the game to more women and girls who deserved better. That’s how LAGC was born.

What’s the experience really like — beyond the promo caption?

Beyond the buzz of a typical tennis event, Sunset Serve is a full-on summer escape. We’ll kick off in the afternoon with a vibrant girls’ tennis session—think great music, refreshing drinks, and delicious snacks as we play, laugh, and connect. But as the sun dips, the magic really begins. We’ll move to a beautifully decorated pool area, bursting with summer color. We’ll swim, we’ll chill, we’ll play games, and once it gets dark, we’ll hit the rooftop for a game night. It’s all about girl time, good vibes, and making memories you’ll never forget. Expect surprises, unforgettable memories, and a whole lot of summer bliss.

Style, Vibes & Rituals

Walk us through a hosting day — what’s your routine?

So, when it comes to hosting a day like this, I have a morning ritual that keeps me grounded. I’m a huge believer in manifesting, so I wake up with positivity—talking to myself in the mirror as I do my skincare, reminding myself that I’m strong, confident, and full of light. I know that if I bring that energy, it sets the tone for everyone else. Then, I head out super early—I’m always the first one on site. I’m with the event team, the decorators, the ushers—I’m checking every detail, making sure everything is perfect. I’ll be there at least five hours before guests arrive, making calls, fine-tuning every little thing—so by the time the day starts, it all just flows, and everyone walks in feeling that magic.

What do you wear when you host? Do you have a go-to style or signature look?

When I’m hosting, or really anytime I need a confidence boost, I always wear my L.A.G.C. merch. Fun fact—I’ve never lost a tennis match in it! There’s just something about the crop tops—they’re not only super cute, but they really give me that confidence. So whenever I want to bring positive energy, you’ll see me fully draped in L.A.G.C. And guess what—L.A.G.C. is debuting its very first activewear line at the event! I can’t give too much away, but these pieces are next-level—a gorgeous off-white set with the most stunning pleats. The fabric is like nothing I’ve ever seen, so you just have to be there—come see it and get ready to shop your L.A.G.C. look!

What music sets the tone for your sessions? (Playlist recs welcome.)

When it comes to the music, I really want the girls to feel free, open, and ready to dance. So, we’re going full-on girly pop—think all the queens. We’ll have Doja Cat, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Tems, Tyla—basically every girl who brings that pop energy. And of course, we’re throwing it back—we’re talking Britney, all the classics that make you want to boogie. Trust me, this playlist will have you feeling like you’re on a yacht😝

Signature scent, drink, or pre-hosting ritual?

So, funny thing—when I’m hosting, I kind of forget to eat because I’m so wrapped up in everything. But you’ll always catch me with my trusty water bottle—I’m basically just hydrating all day long. So, yeah, water’s my signature—no fancy cocktails, just me and my water so please when you see at the event, do bring me a bite, I’d need it😂

Mind Behind the Moment

What inspired this experience — and what do you want people to feel?

So, honestly, this whole experience came from just asking myself, ‘What do I want to do this summer?’ I wanted to be outside, I wanted to be with the girls, just having fun, surrounded by that energy of womanhood. And after the first event, I kept getting messages—‘When’s the next one?’ And it hit me: let’s do a summer bash. Let’s bring the girls together for a whole experience—we’ll play tennis, stay fit, and then just dive into a pool party. And once we were talking, it just kept building—every idea aligned, and now I’m just so excited. I want everyone to feel that same joy, that same buzz—like, they belong, they’re loved, and they’re empowered—so that when they walk in, they just know this is a space where they can be their best selves

How do you keep things fresh every time?

I’m always on the lookout for the next adventure. I’m just wired that way—I’ve always loved doing things differently, standing out. After the first event, the girls were just blown away. People from all over said they’d never experienced anything like it—the vibe, the organization, everything was just top-notch. And that’s how my brain works—I don’t stick to the ordinary. I’m always thinking, ‘What’s next? What’s bigger, bolder, more exciting?’ And honestly, that’s how I keep things fresh—because I design every event as if I’m planning it for myself. And if I love it, I know it’s going to feel special for everyone else, too
